The Friends of the Vale are delighted to be participating in a Virtual Balloon Race to help raise funds for our school. As this is a virtual race, no balloon litter will be created, and no birds nor animals will be hurt!

For just £3 you can buy a balloon for the race which you can design and customise to give your balloon the best chance of winning the race.

Balloons have to be bought by 12pm on 8th August when the virtual launch will take place from Timbuktu in Mali. After the launch, you will be able to monitor the location of your balloon 24/7 to see how it has progressed, and where you are placed in the race.

The race will last for seven days, and there are prizes on offer for the balloons that make it the furthest including £500 cash, an iPad and £10 book tokens.

Additionally, with the wonderful support of Jacobs Steel, The Friends of the Vale will award two further cash prizes. £75 will be won by the balloon bought via our link that travels the furthest, with a runner-up prize of £50.
